- Postdoctoral Fellow, EECS, UC Berkeley1
Jane Wu is a Postdoctoral Fellow in EECS at UC Berkeley advised by Jitendra Malik, funded by the UC President's Postdoctoral Fellowship and an NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. Her research designs ML models that reason about geometry and dynamics of the physical 3D world. She earned a PhD at Stanford with Ron Fedkiw in the Stanford AI Lab, with industry research at Google Project Starline and NVIDIA.12

3D vision and physical reasoning
Wu's homepage lists work on reconstructing hand-held objects in 3D, hand-object interaction pretraining (ICRA 2025), and sparse-view clothed-human reconstruction (WACV 2025 oral). Earlier Stanford work included deep energies for facial pose and SIGGRAPH/SCA geometry recovery.1
