Muse is Meta’s personal AI agent. The official product page is ai.meta.com/muse.1

Meta introduced Muse on September 8, 2026 as a secure, private personal AI agent that proactively helps with people’s goals and suggests ideas. Meta said Muse runs on Muse Secure VM, a dedicated virtual machine that houses both the agent and a person’s data, and that talking to it works like messaging another person, in the Muse app or directly in WhatsApp.2

Meta’s Muse page says you can chat with Muse in the Muse app on mobile, Mac, or directly in WhatsApp, and describes Muse Secure VM as a persistent, isolated Linux computer with a full browser that you and the agent can use to complete tasks.1

Meta’s Muse FAQ says Muse is available for free with a usage limit, and that people who reach that limit can upgrade to a paid subscription or wait until the free limit refreshes. This wiki does not repeat plan prices.1

Meta says Muse does not share a person’s conversations or the data in their VM with Meta’s ad systems, and that Muse is designed to ask permission before actions such as sending messages or making purchases.21
